Absolutely beautiful Dick.

The wild roses of the west coast of Ireland, particularly County Galway, are beautiful and much like what you found in this piece. The Lynch clan was one of the 14 Tribes of Galway and remarkably powerful. Their castle still stands in the city, and houses a bank.

For those who think tea rose when rose is mentioned, here is a picture of the Wild Irish Rose.
