Presentation of the tool.to the wood is very important for any hollowing tool.but especially for the Hunter tools. I have videos that show their usage. Go to youtube and type in john60lucas/hunter and you can find them. One of my favorite tools for hollowing is the Lyle Jamieson rotating holder with the #1 Hunter tool mounted in it.
If you purchase a 6mm or larger cutter ,mount it on a bar and use it flat like a scraper you will be hugely dissappointed. They need to be used as a bevel.rubbig tool tilted at an angle. Another alternative is the Hunter Hercules where the cutter is tilted.forward 30 degrees.
