Re: Moving Nova lathes - recommendations

Mike Brazeau
One of our guild members made a wheel set and lifting device for his Nova DVR which is on a base that looks like the old Delta cast iron legs. Unfortunately he has everything in a transport container is in the midst of a move and building a new house so doubt I could get any pictures. He is able to maneuver by himself on to a lift tailgate on his pickup. Can see if he has any photos.

Just thought of what we do with our General 260. A member adapted two boat trailer jacks to the ends of the cabinet with a single castor at one end and two castors at the other end. Requires no lifting what so ever, just carefull rolling. Idea could be adapted to most stands. I do have some photos I took years ago.
