You could auction the lathe and the accessories at your local wood turning club
and donate 10% of the sale to the club. You might end up with a fair price on the
items with all of the members attending the meeting and help the club at the same time.
There are a number of people that part out lathes and sell individual assemblies and do
very well in the "parts" business. Amazingly these people can double there return by selling
parts compared to the entire machine. It is easier to ship assemblies and parts so they can
market to a larger audience with that strategy.
