Steepen the bevel on the skew

I have one skew with a beel length the thickness of the blade. This is a more obtuse edge than the traditional bevel of 1 1/2 times the thickness.

Theory is similar to York Pitch on a hand plane.

Seems to work better with knarly woods.

Easy to try by putting a steeper secondary bevel on the skew.
