I have made a few flutes here in the past few months, having a lathe at the ready, trying to figure out a way to hold the flute blank to be turned and tapered. mine now have a approx. 3/4 opening on 1 end and a 5/16th or so on the other, how could i hold that on the lathe, tried a chuck with a dowel pushed in, but really out of balance. Any suggestions appreciated. Dennis
