Not true. Powermatic might have moved everything offshore to increase their profit margin, but they were still selling saws, planers, drill presses etc. when they were in TN.
Want a pipe wrench? Rigid still make ‘em in the states, and while in some cases they might cost three times or more than one of the BORGs house brands you are going to see a lot more pros using Rigid than using Kobalt.
There are still some crazies (I’m one of them) that prefer Lie Neilson to Woodriver.
If price was the ONLY force in play, the only woodworking machines still available would be green and have a bear head on them.
