Abrasive planing

A Note of Caution ()

I have not seen it in practice but it is becoming common for mills to abrasive thickness lumber rather than plane it. And we know that hardwood floor sanders mow off wood at a high rate and avoid belt loading even when removing varnish. Clearly the problems you warn of have been solved...somehow, in these commercial machines. All the reasons I was looking for experience in using this machine to most efficiently size wood such as lamination strips or veneer.
