Subject:
magnet tool holding

Bill Tindall, E.Tn.
I had one experience with magnets for holding tools and it was not favorable. The magnets eventually magnetized the tool. When the tool got near metal shavings they were attracted to the tool, annoyingly. I demagnetized them all in a coil and abandoned magnetic storage. I will be interested to hear you experience with the magnets.

When you evaluated chisels I thought your conclusion was that some Japanese chisel was best. Changed your mind? Or maybe not best for demonstrating?

What is the venue? Our club should sponsor more of this sort of things so I would like to know more.

Nice box. It should get the students attention.
