Same experience with nailers...

Early on, I bought a senco electric nailer because it seemed convenient. It works OK, but just OK and often fails to fully sink nails.

I had to nail some courses of wooden flooring when redoing a room before getting enough working room to use a typical floor nailer and bought a cheap pneumatic HF nailer of the same gauge and it easily sinks everything the electric nailer doesn't (I'll never use the HF nailer enough to know if it has durability issues, but it saved accidentally marking up flooring either trying to force nails in or trying to punch them flush.
