Both infection and vaccine result in antibodies. That is how the immunity works as I understand it.
Whether those anitbodies persist for more than many months is an open question, and it is the same question for both infection and vaccine immunity. I kind of doubt it with corona viruses, since they are apparently also the cause of the common cold. No one is immune to colds and most of us get them a couple times a year.
