The death stats are largely BS. Death stats are collected for purposes other than to create an accurate record of what people died of. At the moment it is clear death by COVID is getting the star turn on certs. Apparently flu is in total remission. My mom died of natural causes in October. It was a race to the finish between various causes, and the death notice was done in the funeral home. I doubt Quinsy ran a full autopsy to determine which of her problems actually killed her. And aren't the Quincy's of the US often just the unemployable brother in law of some mayor?
