Subject:
Darken Danish Oil

Tara Desmond
Hello all!
I am doing a chair for a client. It was my first time using Danish oil and I foolishly did not stain the piece before applying. There are two type of wood that are quite different colours and I would like to match them as much as possible. The chair currently has three layers of Danish oil (light walnut)

My question is, what is the best way to get a darker shade on certain pieces/parts? Should I add oil based stain to the Danish oil??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
