Subject:
Making my first piece from reclaimed pallet wood

Barry Irby
About 20 years ago I taught my then 14 year old sone to turn. Somewhere along the way he turned 3 matching legs from curly maple and they have been kicking around at my house ever since. A few days ago he spotted a piece of curly maple I rescued from a six foot long pallet. He declared we should make a stool out of it and his three legs. Today we cut up the salvaged piece and glued up will be a top for the stool. Now I am trying to figure out how to drill the top and the legs for rungs. Any help would be appreciated.
