Sorry to hear about that mishap/accident. Glad to hear that it has healed so well.

I'm trying to learn from this - as I expect you have.
Would you no longer use that type of aggressive cutter?
Not use a paddle style grinder?
Not use a grinder at all?
Or is the lesson to keep two hand on it until it is set down and stopped (what I try to do with my router)?
Or other lesson?

Note that I do not even have a grinder, so I have no experience with one. I have considered one for shaping wood - with exactly those types of cutters.

Thanks. One of the I love WC is the positive/learning attitude, and users' willingness to share experiences, even when these are not necessarily positive ones.
