Subject:
Cherry T&G flooring

Mike L
A real WW topic from me(-; I have an opportunity to get some T&G Cherry hard wood flooring 3/4 inch thick. I am going to use it as a counter top on a cup board and a sort of bar top area. I know you use nails in the tongue for flooring. What I was wondering is if I could just glue it up into a panel clamp it then place it on the top of the cup board. To make it thicker in front I was thinking of ripping a piece and gluing it along the entire front. Or do I have to nail it like flooring to ribs across the cabinet?

I hope I am making sense.

Mike
