I am still thinking about slab tables. Not sure about "Bark on" or "Bark off". I do know that's quite a feat to keep walnut bark on and in that good condition. Nice slabs.

How did you pull them together without damaging the bark?

Is this for you or are you selling it? I am struggling with making furniture and what price to charge. Recently someone asked me about making them a slab table. I Said "That would be a $5000 table" and they said, "That's right." I sent them to a local company that has a huge stash of slabs. Now I wonder how that worked out. I just find it hard to believe anyone will pay five grand for a table.
