Bill, I totally understand and agree with your points regarding custom made furniture. I made most of my works for customers that knew what they wanted and how it needed to fit their needs. You'll never see any of my furniture in magazines or museums but to the owners they are loved as much and used daily.

The reason I built most of what I did was because my clients wanted something they couldn't find anywhere. It either needed to fit a specific space or use. Sometimes they left the way it looked to me and sometimes they had specific instructions. In the end it was they who were paying and therefore had to be 100% satisfied.

To me, your latest revision looks good. Make any small tweaks you think necessary and get going.
