According to Hedley, da Vinci derived the proportions for this famous picture of Vitruvian Man by using the principles from the above book by Vitruvius Pollio

So Hedley goes on to show that the proportions of his card table and their ornaments can be derived from the module of greek architecture incorporated in the various greek collumn forms.
