Subject:
A blast from the past

Ellis Walentine
Our car was broken into last night, and after the deputies had taken all the fingerprints, I started putting all the ransacked junk back where it had come from. A tiny thumb drive showed up, and when I opened it, I found the original manuscript of an interview that I had with James Krenov back in about 1994, distilled from about 45 pages of interview transcripts. It was a high point in my woodworking life, and, in case you missed the first run in American Woodworker #47, here is the original MS, in Word document (.doc) format. Eventually I'll archive it in our articles section, but I wanted to share it with you now.

Cheers,
Ellis
