Beautylock! I had looked for that product for 15 years. When I was in high school shop in 1957 or 58, I built a eastern red cedar bookcase and finished it with Beautylock.

My mother had it in the living room for many years, when she passed my middle son acquired it and it is still in his home. The only thing that has ever been done to the finish is a coat of wax in the 60 years or so it has existed. I do believe it has a little amber color to it but still shows the cedar well.

I have never found a finish I liked so well since!
