There are plunge routers with good and bad ergonomics. Good ones have soft molded rubber oval handles that are mounted as low on the motor as possible. Poor ones have hard round plastic mounted higher. Good ones have the switch and lock lever mounted near a handle so you keep both hands on the handles at all time. Very easy to see the difference and the good ones have the same kind of feel as a fixed base. As mentioned, Elu was one of the pioneers to excellent design.
