Well that is discouraging

I don't own a plunge router. If I had one how is the pivot anchored such that it doesn't pop out of place during the cutting? It just sounds like something that would happen to me.

I guess it is band saw and rasp. When faced with these problems I think that they didn't have plunge routers in 1720, so how did they do it.
