As others have said, Bill, a plunge router mounted on a trammel is the way to go. I can't recall how many discs I've knocked out using this method over the decades. Generally, using a bandsaw for this kind of task is slower and more fiddly, although it is admittedly quieter and less dusty. All the same, I go for the trammel and router method in preference every time. Slainte.
