You can clean up and fair a bandsawn circle by taking the same table you use to rotate the blank over to the disc sander. In the case of a 34" diameter, this would entail a whole lot more work than a router trammel. You can clean up a router cut by taking a very thin finishing pass with a new or very sharp router bit.
