Good points Keith. With me, a lot of my doors end up being solid wood panels. I do occasionally make rail and style doors. But with solid wood, expansion and contraction can be an issue. That is where adjustability can really help.
To be truthful, if someone were to criticize the use of euro hinges on furniture I'm not sure I would argue with them. They are not ideal in my view. But I do find them helpful for a number of applications. On the plus side, they are not externally visible. And knowing that my clients are generally not concerned then I feel somewhat better about their use.
