Subject:
Veneer saws

Mike Stafford
I occasionally use veneer for the bottom of a jewelry box or for the lid of a box.

I have a veneer saw that I have been using for a long time, probably more than 25 years, not constantly but as the need arises.

Of late it has become quite dull and will not cleanly cut the veneer either across the grain or with the grain.

My question is how do you sharpen a veneer saw? Or is it not worth the effort to try and sharpen the saw? Just buy another one?
