OT - car tires ()

Bruce, a MN Galoot
The last tires we had were Bridgestone Ecopia, which were very good, great in snow and ice, wet conditions. Very good mileage, which actually improved by 2 mpg on average, due to low rolling resistance. They were pretty quiet, too. We had to change this year and I put on Michelins. They handle even better and are quieter.

I realize both choices are more money than your wife wants to spend, but I can’t imagine driving a noisy tire for any distance just to save some money. Not worth it.
