We are answering the wrong question, help

The pieces will move, but are very stiff. I am afraid if I don't do something I will wring off the handle or worse. It might be as simple as lubrication, but I suspect I need to disassemble it and clean it.

The question is How does it come apart? Do I remove the fence to get it out of the way and then raise the table until it comes off? Or is there some other way to get it apart? Or Lower it until it falls off?

Its a Rockwell 37-220 6" long bed jointer. Identical to the Delta machines of the era. It's mounted on an enclosed stand so I can't see under it. Well maybe I could send my cell phone in for a look. Just trying to figure out the attack.
