I enjoy the quest for perfection in techniques, and execution, unattainable of course. So if I am using inefficient techniques those aren't authentic, or pleasing to the spirit of my endeavour. Though once I get something completely wired, I don't seek to change my methods unless there were a compelling reason to, or I felt I would prefer or easily master the alternative.
