Making an Oval Questions.....

I volunteered to build some furniture for my son and his new wife. They said they wanted a coffee table and I asked for a picture. It's an oval. Appears to be about 36 to 40" long. Actually Three ovals. A bottom, middle shelf and a top. And a drawer with curved front and curved rails under the top and bottom.

So, how does one go abut cutting nice perfect ovals? I know about using two pins and a loop of string to draw one, but is there some sort of router jig that does it.

Looks like there maybe some curved lamination in my future, also.
