Subject:
Floor Wax

William Duffield
I have an antique house with pine floors. As far back as we can remember, they have been finished with Johnson's Paste Wax. Its been quite a while since we have rewaxed them, and they are down to bare wood in some high traffic areas. I am wondering if we might get better protection if we use a mixture of beeswax and odorless mineral spirits? Would carnauba wax added to this give better results, or would I have difficulty applying it or buffing it out.? Does anyone have a recipe?
