Subject:
Possibly nothing

Henry Higginbotham
When I built my table, I enclosed the router itself in a small box with a hinged door, mainly for noise abatement. I put a 4" dust port out through the back of the main cabinet, figuring the small box might fill up with chips.

Not so. The lower hose hasn't been hooked up in a couple of years, at least, and there's never anything much in the box. I suppose it might help some if you use down-cut spiral bits a lot, but everything else shoots right out through the fence port. YMMV.
