Gorilla glue is just a different formula of the same chemicals used for Great Stuff Foam insulation. Well more or less anyway. Our Chemistry professors also make a special brew of the stuff that expands many times more than Great Stuff.
That's why Gorilla glue foams when it tries to fill a gap. It is good glue when used properly however I haven't found a use for Gorilla glue that I can't do with wood glue or epoxy and either one is far easier to clean up.
