Shelf doors *PIC*

clay foster
The visual clutter and disorganization of thee shelves has been a bur under my saddle for a long time. I finally got time to make some doors for it. The frames are red oak that I sawed and air dried several years ago. The panels are old growth yellow pine salvaged from timbers from a cotton gin. Some friends rescued the timbers that were headed for the dump.

Red oak and yellow pine isn't a combination I would normally choose, but I'm trying to use up wood left over from other projects.

The roll around Craftsman tool chest is one my Momma gave Daddy when they were first married. It's about 65 years old.

The shelf contents are still a little cluttered, but at least now I don't have to look at it.
