The on-board collection on every RO sander I've seen is pretty much an afterthought at best.

Think about it like this--all these sanders are more or less in the 2-3 amp range (1/4-1/3 HP, tops). That's not a lot of power, certainly not enough for any significant airflow or suction, which are what it takes to pull sanding dust away from your workpiece. Never mind that you want those ponies to go to sanding...
