I don't know which version of a craftsman router table you have but look at both the top and bottom. On some the top has a not only recessed areas to keep screws flush but underneath the screw hole areas are ribbed with extra metal and reinforced. the underneath is uneven. You might want to check. Also is the Triton you want to install soft start? If not the torque of the start on a thin table recessed hole coupled with a heavy router is something you might wish to consider. A separate top with the router mounted to it and that anchored to the table may work better.
