I think you will find by looking in the books that many guns like these don't hold value as well as a standard model that is mint. Most people don't buy a standard model and tuck it in a safe. but guns like this they do. So there tends to be many out there in great condition. If you aren't going to shoot it, and you are just going to sell it in 20 years, why not get something you will shoot. Bad thing it's not a good time to sell anything for a good price.
