Good luck with all that upholstery, Dennis,
I gave it up as a part of my business and haven't done any in several years.
Mixed bag, over heree in the shop. My #2 son ED came on Friday to assist in the fabrication of his new router table cabinet. He bought an MLCS table top, fence, and insert from Craig's list. It all came with a frame, so it was building the cabinet within the frame's confines, and designing an appropriate number of drawers and compartments. I continued that work on Saturday, but came down witha sore throat and runny nose on Sunday after church. So I laid low, got warm, and dozed all day in an easy chair. Sometimes it feels good to be lazy. Progress on the table continues today. I need drawer fronts and a cabinet door for the router. My attempt to drill out he router plate to conform to the P+C 690 base was a complete success. With time, I'll put in a switch and other electrics later today.
Two of my boys carried the newly refinished and repaired double bed upstairs. It belongs to the one bedroom suite I didn't make. As the bed and other items in that set were my parents', refinishing it is a special and enjoyable task. I have a chest of drawers, a bureau, and night stand+mirror to go. I may want to build a matching book case later.
The family party was at #3 son's home last night, but I felt too lousey to attend, and sipped in some very cold Pilsner Urquel instead and watched the Super Bowl.
Have a great week.
George
