Several months ago I posted of issues I was having with silicone sealing up in the nozzle after opening when I when back to reuse. A few folks suggested to fill the cap with silcone, replace cap and wrap tape around the cap joint. Wanted to say it works great! Have use the silicone after a few weeks to more than a month and the silcone keeps on flowing with out me using a 3" drywall screw to pull the dried plug out.
