>If the table saw is the available tool for the purpose, and if your angled cut will be along the long side, then I think you have two issues:
1. You could align the board for the cut by making a miter-gauge bar and screwing it to the board at the right distance for your cut.
2. You then have to make sure the board doesn't fall down as it exits the cut. The ideal outfeed table for this kind of thing is an intelligent teenager. If you lack one of those, then you need to make some sort of outfeed table; there are lots of different plans available.
All this seems awfully complicated, though, in comparison to a hand plane.
