Looking for Something?

Subject:
Looking for Pie Safe Plans

Steve from Jobstown, NJ
>I'm looking for plans for a pie safe very much like the one featured in the February 2006 issue of Fine Woodworking magazine (Pages 32 -37), by Mr. Mike Dunbar. I like the dimensions and overall style of the piece, however, I find the article difficult to follow without working drawings, measurements, and dimensions. (Its probably a very good article for an experienced cabinet maker - which I'm not-, and I am a little lost in location of styles, rails, grooves, etc. I'd also like a cutting diagram to know how much lumber to buy. I'd like to use a figured wood like curly maple, but I want to buy enough and not over buy or cut myself short.)

I've searched the web and have not found a similar style pie safe with plans, that I would like to make. If anyone can help point me to the right direction, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks,
Steve
