Looks alright to me, at least comparable to the thickness of the sides. Will measure though.

Gotta do a better job on sharpening, but it takes shavings down to 0.0005 with average thickness of 0.0015, or plenty thin in simple words.

Also, I can set the iron assembly so it's retracted, it's just other planes don't require this. It's been less than 24hrs since I'm the owner, so going to mess around a bit more. That iron oxide or whatever is quite a nasty stuff, sanding it off produces almost sand grain sized dust, made a huge black stain on a concrete floor. Don't remember anything like it.
