Warren and David

Wiley Horne
Warren,

I hear you. I do want you to know that I wasn’t asking a ‘gotcha’ question. I was asking for David’s own observation, and I don’t doubt for a second he is describing what he sees. I just want to know—stated as tangibly as he can—what David is seeing on the wood surface when he says V11 or XHP nicks.

David,

Thank you. The answer is ‘very fine lines—not finger detectible—in raking light’. I appreciate your objective response.

Wiley
