Yeah, they look like they're 45, I guess that's because of a reflection and the photo angle. Paul demoed a real angle with a protractor on a few occasions, the actual angle is around 30+. That, however, was on a freshly reshaped bevel, I suspect that a working angle is close to 35, since his beloved Aldi chisels are as hard as soap, with 25 degree primary they give this distinctive feeling of a tool made from solid aluminum. You could search for photos of other chisels brands on his blog, those have more familiar angles.
