Between 1819 and 1833 this Westchester Co. shop made 798 pieces of furniture

Amos Darlington (1764-1828) lived in West Chester which is in Chester Co. PA. Westchester County is in New York. His active working time (1796-1828) came much later than the pieces being criticized of late. He probably wasn't even born when some of these older chests were made. Amos Jr took over the shop after his father's death. You are talking about two very different eras.
