It's possible that it might hold up. I'm sure there's almost a magic point where an edge goes from being bad to being good.

corners where I usually see the first wear on a paring chisel outside of planes (from slicing into a marked line from right to left or left to right). I'd be concerned about them at lower angle, too, since they have support only on one side.
