Thanks very much for the info, everyone. The discussion you all are having reminds of the double iron discussion, circa Spring 2012. I tend to be reflexively skeptical of the claims of the last couple weeks, but I was skeptical in 2012 (as were others) and it didn't take long to realize that the claims were true.
It'll be a while before I get back in the shop, but I'll experiment and report back if it's still relevant.
