80 grit, too..

80x Crowned Wheel ()

i also use an 80 grit wheel, but a flat one with rounded edges from wood turner's wonder.

A lot of the aggression will go away with some use - mine has settled in and is no issue grinding anything (fine or not).

I'd prefer (in cbn) a flat wheel with a radius edge over a completely rounded wheel (for grinding narrow tools - you can just place them against the flat part of the wheel and grind their hollow without doing anything else, not even moving them), but it's not really a big deal either way. The radius edges allow you to work a small area (like you would with a crowned wheel) of a wider tool if you choose to.
