I have more than enough (more even than rabbit holes). I'll never wear them all out.

I have discovered another holdfast failure mode that occurs in rift sawn ring porous hardwoods like oak, ash and slippery elm, :D and is more likely to happen in thinner material and if the holdfast is oriented in the direction of the grain, and you have a row of dog holes spaced very close together. The force of hammering the holdfast can chip out a triangular prismatic section of wood between the dog hole you are using and the adjacent dog hole.
